The Energy and Environment Advisory Committee was established by the Derry Town Council in August of 2009, for the purpose of serving as an advisory committee to the Town Council, overseeing the Green Vehicles/Green Buildings Initiative as well as educating and working with residents; town business owners; and town staff, committees and boards on clean energy issues such and clean energy upgrades, jobs, and policies as well as environmental concerns and policies.
Members of the public or business community with questions, concerns, or who are seeking assistance with any of these or related issues are encouraged to contact any board members or attend one of the committee?s bimonthly meetings and the committee will be happy to assist you. The committee meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. Beginning in March they will meet the 3rd Monday only at the Derry Municipal Center in room 207 at 7:00 PM.
Members: 5 Residents of Derry to serve as Members and three Alternates appointed by the Town Council, one Town Council Liasion and the Town Administrator or designee.
